Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by PlacementEU Recruitment Agency Ltd. ("PlacementEU", "we", "us"), including through placementeu.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
PlacementEU provides professional recruitment and talent acquisition services, including:
- Candidate sourcing, screening, and shortlisting.
- Interview coordination between candidates and employers.
- Placement and onboarding support.
- Ongoing post-placement assistance.
- Staffing and temporary workforce solutions.
3. Client Obligations
As a client (employer) using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your company and staffing requirements.
- Treat all candidates introduced by PlacementEU with fairness and in compliance with applicable employment law.
- Not approach, hire, or engage with candidates introduced by PlacementEU without our involvement within 12 months of introduction, unless fees are settled.
- Notify us promptly if a placement does not proceed.
4. Fees and Payment
Our placement fees are agreed in writing prior to the commencement of a search assignment. Unless otherwise stated:
- Invoices are due within 14 calendar days of issue.
- Late payments accrue interest at 2% per month.
- Fees are non-refundable once a candidate has commenced employment, except where a replacement guarantee applies (as agreed in writing).
- All fees are exclusive of VAT where applicable.
5. Replacement Guarantee
Where a replacement guarantee is included in the engagement letter, PlacementEU will endeavour to find a suitable replacement at no additional charge if a placed candidate leaves within the guarantee period, provided the client notifies us within 7 days of the departure and has met all payment obligations.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential all non-public information disclosed in connection with the recruitment process. This includes candidate CVs, salary details, and business requirements. This obligation survives termination of the service agreement.
7. Data Protection
Each party acts as an independent data controller with respect to personal data processed in connection with these services. Both parties must comply with applicable data protection legislation (including GDPR). PlacementEU will only share candidate personal data with clients after obtaining the candidate's consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
PlacementEU's liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses. We do not guarantee the performance of any placed candidate.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement by providing 14 days' written notice. Fees due for services rendered to the date of termination remain payable.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Budapest, Hungary.
11. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms. Changes take effect upon posting on this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
